Peer Researcher Experience Report

Peer Researcher Experience Report

Download

Written from evaluation feedback provided by our Peer Researchers, this report captures end of project insights and reflections from the two peer research teams who designed, conducted, and presented research that’s already making a difference; and co-produced a manual on how to set up effective peer research projects.

Inside this report, Peer Researchers share first-hand experiences and their perspectives about why this project was successful.

You’ll see how the project helped develop participants’ skills in research design, data analysis, and public speaking, while supporting personal growth. Importantly, peers reflect on challenges like emotional labour, the need for flexible structures, and the vital role of accessibility and representation - lessons that are shaping how Justlife works across the organisation.

“We have contributed to real social change in a way that couldn't be done in other spaces.”
