Too often, the people most affected by temporary accommodation and who have valuable insights about what could change - those living in it - are furthest away from where decisions are made. This is true at national and local policy level, as well as within homelessness support and campaigning organisations. Through an ongoing journey of internal systems change and co-produced work, Justlife commits to address this issue and share our learning with the sector. Our goal is to create more opportunities for people with lived experience to shape our internal services and policies; and to steer our campaigns, policies, and research, so that our work reflects the realities, priorities, and needs of people living in temporary accommodation and contributes to meaningful change across the system.
