Through 1-to-1 key work support and activities, the frontline team can help temporary accommodation residents improve their:
- Health & wellbeing
- Social capital
- Housing & financial opportunities
We also aim to give people a voice to contribute towards our wider policy change work, and to improve awareness of issues relating to temporary accommodation.
Referral process:
Manchester
Referrals are prioritised from landlords of UTA, but we also accept referrals from any day centre, agency or self-referral.
Before you complete the referral form, please ring the centre or fill in the simple online enquiry form to discuss the case and check if it is suitable to make a referral. Once you have spoken to a member of our team, you can email completed forms, a risk assessment and other relevant information to support@justlife.org.uk
For all probation referrals please email trpp@justlife.org.uk directly with information about the client.
We aim to respond to all referrals within 2 working days.
Brighton
Justlife are commissioned by the Brighton & Hove CCG to provide health engagement support. Health Engagement is for people housed in Emergency Accommodation or Supported Housing with significant and unmet health needs.
- Referrals will be prioritised on need and then taken in chronological order
- Referrals must be from a clinician and must identify the health needs
- Please let us know if you feel the person’s health engagement needs are urgent
- Please let the person you are referring to us know that we operate a waiting list the length of which changes regularly
Please complete as much health information as you can on the form and email to brighton@justlife.org.uk attaching a risk assessment and other relevant information. Let us know if the client has any particular needs such a particular gender of worker etc.
