The Brighton and Hove Homeless Health Conference will be on 9th October 2024 at the Clarendon Centre.
In light of this save the date, the team at the B&H Hove Frontline Network thought we’d share our summary and reflections of this year’s conference with you.
On Wednesday 18th October ‘23, The Brighton and Hove Frontline Network and Arch Healthcare put on a homeless health conference for the city. It was designed to inspire, connect and equip people who work in homelessness services with lots of practical information about the health needs of people experiencing homelessness. Its ultimate goal was improving health outcomes in this vulnerable community.
It provided a space of learning and networking across the city. 143 delegates attended from over 40 different organisations and teams.
The programme followed three work streams looking at mental health, physical health and Worker Wellbeing & the Frontline Network, this meant for a rich variety of workshops and talks including navigating Mental Health Services, Co Production in Action and Autistic, ADHD, bendy and homeless.
Despite the rainy weather, the day was a great success from the venue and food, to the talks, thanks to all speakers and delegates who attended and joined in. Feedback included:
