Senior Engagement Worker, Justlife Foundation Brighton

Salary £27,163 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Normal working hours are Mon to Fri, 9am to 5pm (37.5 hours per week)

Location: Brighton     

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engagement Worker to join the team in Brighton & Hove.  The role will work with the Operations Manager to ensure smooth day to day running of the engagement work. This will include line managing engagement workers, managing referrals, as well as supporting a caseload of their own clients. The support for clients is provided through a number of interventions aimed at helping them engage positively in health services and their own health improvement. This may include connecting them with, and accompanying them too, appropriate support services and appointments, as well as assisting them in addressing health or substance misuse needs and issues around housing and benefits. Part of the role is also helping clients to in engage in the Justlife activities programme and other meaningful activities based on their strengths, interests and ambitions.

 

We are looking for someone with management experience, who is highly motivated to support people, passionate about working collaboratively with others and has experience of working in a related field.

Project Development Worker, Justlife Foundation Brighton

Salary £21,567 per annum

Contract: Fixed term (9 months) Normal working hours are Mon to Fri, 9am to 5pm (37.5 hours per week)

Location: Brighton     

We have a short-term opportunity for a project Development Worker to join the team. The role will work closely with the Operations Manager to develop and deliver a range of projects aimed at delivering effective and empowering services to those who are vulnerably housed. These projects may include the Frontline Workers Network, move in packs for those in temporary accommodation, an upcoming office move and developing activities, specifically relating to art and creativity.

The role will work with the existing team and other local stakeholders, to develop the various projects as well as supporting service users through meaningful activities that are based on their strengths and interests. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated to support people and passionate about working collaboratively with others, with a track record of developing projects, specifically involving multi agency work.
