Last week we were delighted to open a letter from the Souter Foundation, who have awarded Justlife £2,000 towards the work at the Manchester centre.Today at Justlife we had a busy drop in with 15 people using computers, playing basketball, chatting, drinking tea and getting advice. This afternoon we ran a brilliant grow and cook workshop outside in the sunshine in which we harvested lettuce, marrow, rocket, carrots, shallots and strawberries from the garden, before making home made burgers on the BBQ and cooking up a treat with all our fresh produce. This grant will help us to do more activities, like this, with the vulnerable and homeless people with which we work.We would like to extend our thanks to all at the Souter Foundation.
