With two world class football clubs in the city, 'the beautiful game' is always a hot topic in Manchester. During, September Justlife was privileged to enjoy the hospitality of Manchester United Football Club... twice. The world famous football club donated 10 museum and stadium tour tickets to us, as well as 10 coveted match tickets.Last Thursday, Justlife took a group of service users to enjoy the guided tour of Old Trafford, enabling people to find out about the history of the club as well as enjoying the atmosphere of the stadium. To follow this we took a group of 10 to see the premiership match of Manchester United v Crystal Palace. Many Justlifers are avid Man United fans but have never had the means or opportunity to see a live match and were excited to be part of Saturday's game. The group saw Man U win 2-0, so everyone left the stadium happy.The match tickets and tour tickets were donated by Manchester United foundation. We hope to develop our relationship with the foundation which is opening up unique opportunities to some of Manchester's most vulnerable people.
