Today we had the first session of the twelve week induction training for service-user volunteers at Justlife. This new training programme lets us give back in skills and training what they generously give to us in time.The induction training will cover modules including: The ethos and values of Justlife, Communication , Boundaries, Health & Safety, Anger/Stress management, Listening skills and Safeguarding.We have five volunteers on the induction programme, which is due to conclude at Christmas. This will lead to NVQ’s should the volunteer wish to continue with training and gaining a nationally recognised qualification. We are working with Manchester College in order to provide NVQ training.
