This week we are saying goodbye and a big thank you to Kerry, longstanding volunteer and placement student at Justlife.Kerry has been volunteering at the lunch drop-in since October 2010 and from March has given Justlife 16 hours a week to complete her placement for her Health and Social Care foundation degree.From making brews and washing up to helping to run the SMART recovery group and getting alongside clients Kerry has been committed and dedicated at every step.Kerry said: “Justlife has grown such a lot since I joined as a volunteer 10 months ago. It has been such a privilege to journey with people and see them move on and improve in confidence. The team is also a great bunch of people to work with, I will definitely be popping back in to see everyone.”Kerry is going on to study a BA in Social Work at Manchester Metropolitan University. We wish her every success.
