I am a recent Psychology graduate from the University of Huddersfield and I am now putting into practice the skills obtained throughout my degree by applying them in a practical setting such as this. My area of interests include mental health, stigmatisation of particular client and patient groups and looking at effective ways to help people integrate and feel part of their community. I have previous experience of working with people with alcohol dependence and people suffering with a range of mental health illnesses and learning disabilities such as depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, autism, ADHD and downs syndrome. In my spare time I enjoy travelling to new places, fashion, going on country walks and reading. I am looking forward to being part of the Justlife team to uphold the values and ethos the charity promotes and combining skills to create the best possible service for our service users. I recognise the profound issue of unsupported temporary accommodation and the problems that accompany this, therefore within my role as a project worker I aim to work in collaboration with service users to improve their living conditions and general wellbeing.
