Last night, Justlife was awarded 'Community Project of the Year' at the Eastlands Homes Pride of Eastlands Awards 2015. We were also delighted that Andrew Bandele, a Justlife volunteer was also shortlisted for the prestigious volunteer of the year award.The awards celebrate inspiring individuals or groups who have been nominated by people in their communities for making a difference. The aim of the awards is to say a big "thank you" to all the projects and people making a very real difference in their communities.As winners of community project of the year, The Justlife Centre, Manchester won £250 as well as receiving a trophy. This is testament to the hard work of all involved in Justlife Manchester, staff, volunteers and students, who work tirelessly to improve the lives of homeless and vulnerable people in our community.We would like to take this opportunity to thank Eastlands Homes for recognising the difference that we make and for supporting Justlife with both time, expertise and donations over the past few years.
