This week Brighton's Fishing Club took a Christmas Trip to the Sea Life Centre, as a finale to an excellent term's fishing.
The eight service users were inspired by the world under the sea and the beauty of so many bright, weird and wonderful creatures. And where the group had come up short with their fishing exploits, they were now able to see many examples of the kind of animal they had spent many hours trying to catch! The trip was enjoyed by all.
Although the fish count has been low at the fishing club, the teamwork and activity has inspired people to seek recovery from alcohol and drugs, to make friends, and to have a community that comes together over a unifying purpose.
