Last week, 4 women from Justlife enjoyed making jewellery at Manchester Ceramics Enterprise. The group were mesmerised by the process and intricacies of making jewellery for themselves and others.8 different women have taken part in the workshops, for the women's group, with Manchester Ceramics since Christmas and they all have very much enjoyed the experience. Wendy, workshop leader said: "It was wonderful working with the women yesterday. They became totally absorbed."
The jewellery making is part of the 'Eve Project', Justlife's work with women, which is funded by John Grant Davies Trust. The group have also taken part in a Cancer awareness session, art workshops, trips and cooking sessions. Women are often harder to engage than men, so we are delighted that so many of our women are choosing to join the group.
