Justlife Manchester welcomes Sarah to the team

photo-48Today Justlife is welcoming Sarah Todd to the team. Sarah will be working 12 hours a week as the IT for Jobs tutor. Sarah will be assisting at the Justlife Jobclub with IT support, running a basic IT class once a week and conducting one-to-one support sessions, where needed.Sarah said: "It is exciting to be part of Justlife because you do such amazing work here in Openshaw, and beyond, helping those who are most in need. I am looking forward to working in such a welcoming environment that is friendly and proactive. Everyone wants to make a real difference, and they do.""IT skills are becoming more and more essential in today's world. It is such a privilege to be able to help people build confidence and develop IT skills which will help them look for and move towards and into employment."Prior to working at Justlife, Sarah was as a teaching assistant and mentor in several different schools and colleges, she also worked as a fundraiser for SAFE Gorton, a local social action project, in which she is still involved.This role is funded by Manchester City Council through the Manchester Work Clubs network.Pic: Christa, Justlife Jobclub Coordinator and Sarah, the new IT for Jobs tutor.
