We are delighted to announce the support of 4 new funders to Justlife, that are enabling us to continue Justlife at Home; a projecting enabling homeless adults secure and sustain tenancies in the private rented sector (PRS). Justlife has secured a two-year grant from Tudor Trust and other funding from Persula Foundation, Zurich Community Trust and Steinberg Family Charitable Trust, to support this much-needed project.

Justlife at Home will continue to be managed by Nigel Fyles, who set up and has successfully run the project since 2012. In the first two years of the project Justlife successfully re-housed 43 individuals and more than 90% of them went on to maintain their tenancy for over 6 months. During this time 58% of the tenants housed engaged in employment or work-related schemes. Justlife Manchester also operates housing resettlement work into supported accommodation. All those who are supported through the Justlife at Home project have the opportunity to engage with the wider services Justlife offer through our Manchester Health and Enterprise Centre, which is already securely funded for the next three years. These complementary services enable residents to access support with issues such as bereavement, substance misuse, mental and physical health, financial management, debt and employability.Justlife at Home has been recognised as a success by the city, noted in the latest Homelessness Strategy for Manchester. We are looking forward to continuing the good work and housing more people in the next two years.
