Justlife has set up a volunteer exchange partnership with the Salvation Army Charity Shop. This opens up more experiences for volunteers across the two organisations.The first exchange is between Sarah, a new Justlife volunteer and Paul, who has been volunteering at the charity shop for over a year. Paul started volunteering at Justlife last week and will be helping every Monday and Friday.Both Paul and Sarah are doing really well in their roles. Paul is incredibly helpful and is great at getting alongside the Justlife service users in the drop-ins.Sarah said: “Working at the charity shop is great. Every shift I reach the targets I am given, which is really satisfying and motivating. I have also been given the responsibility of using the till and helping to cash up.”Justlife is currently expanding and building the sustainability of its work helping people move towards employment and this volunteer exchange programme is one of our most recent initiatives’.
