Justlife at Home helps people living in temporary and B&B accommodation move in to tenancies in the private rented sector. In the past 11 months Nigel Fyles, the PRS scheme project manager, has helped 20 people gain a tenancy and set up home in the private rented sector and over 90% of tenants have been able to sustain these for over 6 months. Because of this success, Justlife has been awarded an additional £5,000 from Crisis.Nigel is currently supporting 8 people to sustain their tenancies and liaise between landlords and tenants. In addition he is sourcing properties for 6 further clients.The success of Justlife at Home is reflected in the securing of a further year's funding from Crisis and financial support from Manchester City Council. Other services and projects are extremely interested in the project, which is the only one of its kind in Manchester.
