Justlife’s first trophy

Last week Ian, Justlife Manchester volunteer and caretaker for the garden went to the Grand Hall in Manchester Town Hall to receive a Manchester in Bloom award for the Justlife garden.

Ian and Ruth Cox, centre manager, enjoyed receiving the award on stage, in front of a crowd of competitors. The ceremony was in beautiful surroundings at the Town Hall and both Ruth and Ian felt proud to be receiving the award. Alongside the trophy and certificate, Justlife received a voucher for 5 gold coins which are worth £10 to spend in the Manchester Christmas Markets!We would like to thank Ian and the Justlife gardening workshop for creating such a beautiful space around the Justlife building. In addition thank you to Debdale Eco Centre who have run the workshops, volunteers from Eastland Homes and to Adactus, The John Grant Davies Trust and North of England Horticulture Society for funding towards the transformation of the garden.
