Bob* was referred to Justlife at Home at the end of January by the No Second Night Out (NSNO) Project, run by English Churches Housing Group / Riverside. Bob had slept rough for three nights following the breakdown of a relationship. He had been picked up by the NSNO team and placed in a temporary nightshelter. Identified as someone who wanted a private rented sector home, Bob was referred to Nigel, the Justlife at Home project manager. After working with Bob for only a week Nigel shortlisted and visited properties with him. The first property fitted the bill and Justlife at Home helped Bob with the paperwork and underwrote the bond enabling him to sign for the tenancy.Nigel helped Bob move into the house in Middleton, North Manchester on 21st February. The previous tenant had left some furniture, making the transition easier. This was supplemented by a charitable furniture grant. We are delighted that Bob is our 20th client that we have helped into stable private rented sector accommodation and as ever, we will continue to work with him over the next 6 months to support him with the ins and outs of his tenancy.*Bob (Name changed for confidentiality)
