At the Justlife centre in Manchester we offer services and activities to address the critical needs that our clients are facing. To inform the way we offer services and sessions we use a recognised model that brings focus and helps improve health and well being in subtle and more obvious ways...“Five Ways to Health and Wellbeing”.The five ways are...Connect - with others whether it is at home, in the community or at the centre. Taking the time to develop and mend relationships can enhance everday life.Be Active - ‘Healthy body, healthy mind’, take part in physical activity, table tennis, basketball and football are on offer at Justlife, or just walking in the park helps to improve health.Take notice - of the world around you.Noticing the simple things whilst going about your daily routine, such as a change in season or a piece of artwork and savouring the moment will help put things in perspective and allow you to be more appreciative.Keep learning - trying something different such as learning a new skill e.g. cooking, art or gardening. The challenge will increase motivation and confidence.Give - do something nice for a friend or stranger… Putting your efforts towards a good cause can be incredibly rewarding.
