On Friday we were joined by the Finance Team from local housing association, Eastlands Homes, who came to volunteer at the Manchester Justlife Centre.The group of 16 split into 3 groups to help at the centre. Several people helped with the morning drop-in, chatting to service users, encouraging them to take part in activities and teaching origami! Several people spruced up the office, clinic and rooms by painting walls, doors and window frames. The bulk of the work was in the Justlife garden and on the outside of the building. We now have newly painted exterior windows and doors, clear gutters, pruned hedges and a very tidy looking garden.The volunteer day is part of Eastlands Homes CSR programme in which their staff help out in the local community. We are extremely grateful for their support, which is the latest in a long list of ways that they have assisted Justlife.
