We have been overwhelmed with the generosity and support of others which has enabled Justlife to celebrate Christmas in style this year. Last week we held a Christmas Party for 50 services users and this would not have been possible without others...A team from Zest, a local health living organisation, worked hard to cook a Christmas dinner for 50 people, with several Justlife volunteers busily helping. Natasha, a volunteer at Justlife, roped in her highly-acclaimed gospel choir to perform at the short carol service, a treat which was enjoyed by all. Fareshare donated some food and drink towards the celebrations, including a turkey! The day before the party 4 regulars at Justlife helped us decrate the venue at St Clement's Church.With generous donations from supporters we were able to put together a Happy Healthy Christmas gift bag for each service user, which included gloves, puzzle books, chocolate and health items and advice.Justlife Manchester is open on 28 December and 31 December and to keep us going Jan has baked a plentiful supply of delicious cakes!
