On September 25th we will open the first Justlife Drop-in in Brighton. This will run from 12.30 – 2.30 at Gloucester Place Baptist Church in the City Centre. The Drop-in will be targeted specifically at those living in temporary B&B accommodation on Grande Parade.Simon, Hannah and Gary are personally inviting all the residents and they hope that a small group will gather for the lunch time session where they will be able to get support with housing, benefits and healthcare, as well as a decent meal and help with making vital connections for their health & wellbeing.Over the next 6 months the Justlife team hope to build a picture of the community which lives in Brighton B&B accommodation in order to help develop services which will be beneficial to that community.Gary says: ‘I’ve spent the last 8 weeks listening to service providers in Brighton, building connections and walking the neighbourhoods talking to people and it seems that we have landed up at a very familiar starting place … an outreach service to those living in B&B and temporary accommodation. This community is a real passion of mine and having seen the difference a service like ours can make I am excited to see what develops.’
