I first came to Justlife just over a month ago. I had moved into Gransmoor Avenue and I had problems with my benefits. I was told by other people in my house that Justlife would be able to help.When I first came in the door everyone was very friendly and I felt very welcome. I was immediately able to get help filling in the form for Jobseekers Allowance, which is difficult for me as English is not my first language. After this initial help Alex told me about the other support that Justlife could provide, including Job club and the morning internet drop in. Alex helped me update my CV and ensure it was presented correctly.I have been in everyday to look for work and apply for jobs. The staff have been really helpful in Justlife, helping me write letters, make phone calls and apply for work. I have always felt welcome and enjoy just coming in for a brew (although I don’t even like tea or coffee).I have now got a job in Stockport. I am really looking to starting next week. It is a skilled job as a CNC turner, which is exactly what I want to do.
