Since the Manchester Justlife centre opened in March 2010, Justlife has partnered with Hope Citadel Healthcare to deliver nurse-led clinics for service users, many of whom have multiple and critical needs.The nurse delivers a weekly clinic offering health information sessions, responsive medical advice and treatment, sexual health screening, HIV and Syphilis testing, wound care, advice on safer alcohol and drug use and promotes all aspects of a healthy lifestyle.Although appointments can be made, the clinic is primarily run on a drop-in basis, enabling the nurse to deal with issues immediately.Hope Citadel Healthcare CIC was set up with the aim of providing NHS services to those in under-doctored and deprived areas. Aiming to deliver the best possible care where the whole person and family are at the centre. Hope Citadel Healthcare currently provides services in four centres across Greater Manchester offering a mixture of traditional GP service and walk in service, as well as the services at the Justlife centre.
