Since opening in March 2011, Justlife has been operating a nurse led clinic every Monday and Friday from the centre in Manchester. Hannah Bishop, the nurse, has seen 75 people for various issues including woundcare, health checks, sexual health, referrals and drug and alcohol advice. Hannah also supports service users recovering from addiction issues through the weekly SMART recovery group.Hannah said: 'Most people come to see me about one issue, usually around woundcare, but during the consultation I am able to talk to them about other health issues, such as addiction or sexual health, and then support them further.'Offering a clinic to service users is a brilliant way in engaging them with what we do, opening doors helping them to access further services at Justlife and beyond.
