Since opening the centre in March 2011, Justlife has run a weekly cooking workshop for service users. The weekly workshop is extremely popular and sees service users learn a number of skills as well as cook some delicious food. Most recently they have made: pizza from scratch, toad in the hole, chicken caesar salad, kebabs and homemade pasta. It is a great opportunity to teach participants about healthy eating, the cost of food and budgeting for meals.Luis said: "I had no idea how cheap you could make stuff. We just made 3 trays of potato wedges and it only cost £1. In the chip shop you get nowhere near that much for £1."
