Alastair Jones, a Justlife Director, is running his second marathon this Sunday and is adopting innovative fundraising methods, by asking his fellow football fans to sponsor him and support Justlife. As a member of the Brighton FC supporters club and a long term follower of the team, Alastair posted on the online messageboard details of his marathon in Brighton and information about how Justlife transforms lives.Since posting the notice a few weeks ago, messages of support have been pouring in, and so has the sponsorship. As well as fellow supporters, Alastair has been sponsored by notable Brighton commentators; Paul Camlin (club and official Twitter) Seagull Love Review (Fanzine), Andy Naylor (Argus Reporter - Local Paper), The Ferret (Well Known Fan), and Albion Roar (Fans Podcast).Alastair has also been retweeted by Brighton FC players: Tommy Elphick, Matty Sparrow, Jake Forster Caskey and Alan Navarro. This is a great profile boost for Justlife in Brighton, raising support and awareness of our work in view of a Justlife pilot and research project due to take place later in the year.Alastair will be running the Brighton marathon on Sunday 15th April with Gary Bishop, Director and founder of Justlife. If you would like to sponsor Gary or Alastair, please click on their name.
