The Justlife garden and allotment is looking and tasting fabulous. This is thanks to the hard work of Mike Schofield, who until this week coordinated the gardening workshops and outside maintenance.Mike has faithfully volunteered at Justlife since it started around two years ago and has been employed since the centre opening in March. We are delighted that Mike will be using his gardening and maintenance skills to set up his own business.Mike said: “I have loved my time at Justlife and it has been great to work with volunteers and service users to teach them about growing food. The garden does look great but I couldn’t have done it alone, I would like to thank all who have helped, especially Derek who will keep the allotment going. I have made some great friends here and will definitely be popping back in.”Everyone at Justlife would like to wish Mike the very best for his business and the future.
