Justlife has been running a SMART recovery group to support clients looking to gain freedom from addictive behaviours. The group, that meets weekly has about 7 members and feedback has been really positive. One SMART group member said: "It's really good because it keeps us focussed. It is good to hear other peoples views and share and help other people. It takes the focus off yourself because you hear other peoples problems and you realise that you are not the only one finding life hard."SMART is run every Friday at 2pm by the Justlide Nurse, Hannah and supported by Matt. The purpose of SMART is to help individuals seeking abstinence from addictive behaviours to gain independence, achieve recovery and lead meaningful and satisfying lives. The approach is science-based, using motivational, behavioural and cognitive methods.
