Mark Ryder, Gretta Starks, Sue Ryland and Gary Bishop spent the day in London on behalf of the Regeneration team of Justlife Community Interest Company, meeting with prospective partners and projects.The day was spent with Bob Young, CEO of Local Space, along with its tenants association and management team, based in Newham and Andy Redfearn from the YMCA, Wimbledon.There was great synergy between the organisations, and their outlook and values.Gary said: “Like us, they really value their service users and they have a real say in decision making; demonstrating that it is possible to grow but maintain a culture that values input from clients.”There are potential partnerships on a number of regeneration projects and the team was inspired by the passion of Bob Young and what he has achieved with Local Space. YMCA showed us some innovative London regeneration schemes that were good for food for thought.
