On Monday we held our annual Christmas dinner which was enjoyed by 35 guests and a dozen volunteers. An incredible feast was prepared and suitably devoured by the grateful crowd who repeatedly took the opportunity to express their thanks for all the efforts put in by our team over the year.Between the main course and desert we held a short Carol Service in the main church which was really enjoyable and very poigniant as guests were invited to light candles on the altar which symbolised things from their past, their present and their future.Thanks to the generosity of so many friends we were able to distribute gifts to everyone who came along and our service users can now be seen all over Openshaw wearing the best hats, gloves and scarves in town
