Just Party at The Plough… raising over £800
This Summer, Justlife supporters have been partying to help the hidden homeless. Justlife’s Women’s Worker, Hannah, organised a party at The Plough, Heaton Moor raising over £800 for Justlife.
Over 100 people came to the event and enjoyed music from Velody and the Basement Blues. A raffle with generous donations from many local businesses added to the fundraising and Buttercream Dreams created gorgeous cakes, selling them to raise more money and keep party-goers sweet!
Justlife would like to thank The Plough for their warmth and hospitality in hosting the event, as well as Hannah for her brilliant efforts in organising the party.
We would like to thanks all of the local businesses that supported the event by donating raffle prizes, including: Belly Button, Heaton’s Tandoori, Weave, Moo Boutique, Eternal Envy Boutique, Boots, the Cooperative, The Barbers Shop, KMC Barbers, Creations, Pokusevski’s Delicatessen, The Seashell, Blazier Hair and Kushroom Kolly.
Why don’t you get involved too? Could your organise a “Just Party” in your own home, to raise money for the hidden homeless? If you can then please get in touch, we have party packs containing balloons, flyers, stickers and drinks mats.
