Get fit, healthy and active at Justlife
To encourage service users to be healthy, for stress relief and relaxation the Brighton drop-in is introducing tai-chi to the program in September. We have talked about it already and it looks like it is going to be popular.
The Justlife Centre in Manchester focuses activities and sessions on the recognised tool “Five Ways to Health and Wellbeing”. One of the “Five Ways” is: Be Active!
Yoga is currently available to women once every 6 weeks and is an ideal opportunity to de-stress, relax and build core strength. The Yoga is led by a lady who has suffered bereavements and struggled with alcohol in the past. She uses her story and own battles to show the importance of de-stressing, relaxing and keeping healthy in the midst of a chaotic life.
In the past few weeks the sun has been shining in Manchester and we have been taking advantage of the basketball hoop, table tennis table and local football pitch in the park (see pic).
If you are inspired to get active then why don’t you sign up to run a marathon to raise money for Justlife! Contact us to find out more.
