In this year's winter fundraising appeal, we are hoping to raise £50,000 to enable us to expand our services to reach more people living in temporary accommodation. As energy bills soar and the cost of living crisis pushes more people into homelessness, the demand for our services is increasing. This campaign will help us deliver 4 core areas of support:
Health Engagement - Improving mental and physical health and reducing hospital admissions by supporting people to engage with health services. This can include accessing therapy, recovery groups and palliative care.
Mobile Justlife - Helping more people understand their housing rights and access support they are entitled to by delivering weekly drop in sessions outside properties where people can seek advice.
Social Connection - Combating loneliness by matching people in befriending relationships, organising social activities, and running a peer support group.
Targeted Referrals - Supporting prison leavers to transition into stable housing, build independence and reintegrate with their community.
