Hilary Burkitt is head of housing at social research agency IFF where she leads research on a wide range of issues relating to both housing and homelessness. Hilary’s research career spans nearly 25 years, nine of which were spent as head of research at the housing charity Shelter, where she lead research on homelessness, temporary accommodation, private renting and social housing and was one of Shelters key spokespeople on a range of campaigning issues.
