Christian Dior and Justlife at the Gallery of Costume
Last week Justlife took a trip to the Gallery of Costume in Platt Fields, Manchester. We were suprised that the group that wanted to go were all men, especially as the exhibition was focussed on Christian Dior’s dresses and designing history, but the response was incredibly positive.
As well as the tour, everyone participated in a workshop in which they had to design their own clothing. This allowed people to exercise their creativity and there were some great designs based on world events and meaningful moments.
The group enjoyed being together, learning and finding out new things. This trip is part of a wider programme at Justlife to help service users expand horizons and raise aspirations.
