Justlife is both a Community Interest Company and a charity. Our aspiration is to find a balance between grant funding, charitable giving and generating revenue through business activities. As a CIC we are able to generate revenue to support the work of our charity through consulation and contracted work. At this early stage we are heavily dependent on grants and the generous contributions of individuals who believe in the work of Justlife and wish to invest in it.
Currently we receive funding from the Big Lottery Fund Reaching Communities, Crisis, Manchester City Council, Homeless Transition Fund, Seedbed – Brighton, Seedbed – Manchester, Eastlands Homes, Adactus Housing Association, Enterprise Rent a Car, Souter Charitable Trust, LankellyChase, People’s Health Trust, (51 Community Interest Companies raising money to address health inequalities across England, Scotland and Wales through The Health Lottery), Department of Health, Albert Hunt Trust, 29th May 1961 Trust, Duchy of Lancaster Benevolent Fund, Community First, Garfield Weston Foundation, John Grant Davies Charitable Trust, Marsh Christian Trust and The Peter Kershaw Trust.
Justlife is extremely grateful to all individuals who donate regularly and fundraise for Justlife. Our great friend and supporter Margaret Yuill has been running a fundraising initiative on our behalf. Margaret Yuill offers to hand paint a picture of your front door onto a small canvas which is provided with a beatiful wooden easle. So far margaret has painted over 100 pictures for people all over the world. You can find out the details and see some examples of her amazing work at www.martyart.co.uk .
In 2013 14 staff members, supporters and volunteers ran marathons in Brighton and Manchester raising a total of £18,421.90. If you would like to fundraise for us in the future please get in touch.
If you would like to give regularly to Justlife please fill in a standing order form and return it to Justlife in the post.
